A brow tattoo is commonly known as the powder brow (and as an ombre brow) is slightly different from Microblading. It’s done with a rotary tattoo machine and an acupuncture needle. Every time the needle hits the skin ever so gently it inserts a tiny dot of pigment known as micro shading- this is how we achieve a powdered eyebrow look.

A powder brow consists of thousands of those dots which when healed create a soft shaded looking brow, which is quite similar to a henna tint. This technique is often preferred as it causes a lot less trauma to the skin. The needle lightly touches the skin, so there is no resistance or tearing. We can create many different looks using this method of tattooing. Another benefit to this technique is that due to the skin not being damaged during treatment you can touch them up for the rest of your life (a yearly top up is recommended).
