Microblading

Microblading is now very popular and these beautiful defined hair stroke brows can be seen all over social media - it’s the newest trend BUT that doesn’t mean that’s it’s the best option for everyone. So what is Microblading?
It’s a semi-permanent tattoo where we create fine lines. Microblading uses a bladed needle to apply pigmentation underneath the skin. Your brows are filled by making hair-like strokes that look like natural eyebrow hair, these are scratched into the skin.
Unfortunately Microblading doesn’t suit everyone. For this treatment you have to have strong and stable skin. So if you have large pores, oily, sun-damaged or smokers skin, then the strokes have a risk of blurring or disappearing altogether during the healing process.
Microblading lasts between 1-2 years depending on maintenance, skin type, medications, sun exposure & lifestyle.
But the good news is you don’t need to say goodbye to having ombre/powder eyebrows if you decide to start off with Microblading. You can go over the top of microblading any time with a Powder Brow/Ombré Brow. You might even decide to go for a Combination Brow which is the best of both worlds!
